Bow Tie and Cummerbund

A black bow tie is worn with the formal Prince Charlie and either a flat or bow tie is worn with the informal jacket. Tartan bow ties are perfect with a matching cummerbund when wearing a tuxedo. Generally speaking tweed, plain or diagonal striped ties are worn with kilts.
